Full-Time Live-In Nanny / Housekeeper

NR King’s Lynn, Norfolk

A wonderful opportunity for an experienced, hands-on Nanny/Housekeeper to join a busy, informal family of five.

We are looking for a reliable, proactive and experienced live-in Nanny/Housekeeper to become an important part of our family home. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being organised, takes initiative and is confident managing the day-to-day demands of a busy household.

The position could suit either a single candidate or a couple, provided the arrangement works well for everyone and the household responsibilities are consistently maintained to a high standard.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for a combination of childcare and household duties, helping to ensure the home runs smoothly and efficiently. We are looking for someone who is naturally organised, flexible and happy to get stuck in wherever needed.

Basic healthy family cooking will also be required, including preparing simple, fresh and nutritious meals for the family. You don't need to be a professional chef, but you should be confident and comfortable preparing everyday family meals.

The family also have dogs and ponies, so it is important that the successful candidate is comfortable and happy living and working in a home with animals and enjoys a rural, outdoor environment. Previous experience with animals would be an advantage, although it is not essential.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7.00am – 6.30pm

1.5 hours’ break during the day in term time

8.30am start during school holidays

One overnight stay per week will be required most weeks

Occasional weekend babysitting

A comfortable two-bedroom annex is provided, situated next to the main family home, offering a good level of privacy and independence.

Manny / Nanny Tutor – Based in Jersey

Location: Jersey with travel to Scotland in the school holidays

Role: Live-in Manny / Nanny Tutor

Child: One boy, aged 11

Hours: Very ad hoc and flexible

We are looking for a mature, kind and fun Manny/Nanny Tutor to support an 11-year-old boy between Scotland and the Channel Islands.

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys travel, adventure and family life, while also being able to provide structure and routine.

The role will include flying between Scotland and the Channel Islands with the child, as well as periods of proxy parenting when required.

Proxy Parenting Role – Near Winchester

An exciting proxy parenting opportunity is available for an experienced childcare professional to support a family based approximately 10 minutes south of Winchester.

The family are looking for a warm, confident and reliable proxy parent to care for their three children: 3-year-old twins and an 8-year-old.

Dates & Hours

First booking:

9th September from approximately 4:30/4:45pm until 13th September after lunch.

Second booking:

18th September from approximately 4:30/4:45pm until 19th September at around 1am, with the option to stay until the morning of 20th September.

Responsibilities

The role will include all aspects of proxy parenting, ensuring the children are happy, safe and well cared for while their parents are away. Duties will include school and nursery pick-ups and drop-offs, so a confident driver with a suitable car is essential.

The family also have a dog, so candidates should be comfortable in a dog-friendly household.

Candidate Requirements

Previous professional childcare experience is essential

Professional Full-Time Nanny Required

A warm and professional family is seeking an experienced, proactive, and energetic full-time nanny. This position is available as either live-in (with accommodation provided) or live-out.

Location: RG20

Working Hours:

Term Time: Monday to Friday

6:45 am – 10:45 am

School Holidays: 45 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours if required.

Proxy Parenting:

The role includes proxy parenting approximately six times per year, for five consecutive days (Monday to Friday) while the parents are away.

Once the children are collected and home you will provide a healthy wholesome meal, do homework/reading and prepare the children for bedtime.

7.45/8am - 6/6.30pm (Hours off in the day can be discussed)

A car can be provided but the client is also happy for you to use your own and be reimbursed.
